Those without leave to remain in the UK and without any outstanding immigration or asylum applications are at risk of removal. Administrative removal is when the UK authorities enforce the removal of an individual without leave to remain from the UK. Deportation is when the UK authorities enforce the removal of someone “for the public good” usually after serving a criminal sentence in the UK.
