The Migrants’ Law Project is delighted to present artwork from students at Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School, engaging with the themes of ‘It Can Be Done’, our podcast on using the law for social change. Year 7 students were asked to create art on themes relating to justice, working collaboratively to tackle injustice, and how the law can be used to help vulnerable people. The artwork has been beautifully displayed below by artist Laura Tucker.
Helping people from our local community, and communities across the UK, to understand the importance of the law in securing basic rights is key to our mission and one of the key reasons that we have developed ‘It Can Be Done’. We are very grateful to Elizabeth Garrett Anderson School for helping us to work with local young people to think about, and express creatively, human rights law in action.
